Getting started with Name.com is very quick and simple. The site can be found at www.name.com.
Search for your domain
Step 1: Once you're there you'll see a input field that says, "Search by domain, keyword, or phrase." Type in the name of the domain you are interested in registering to see if it is available. Then hit the Search button.
Name.com will the check to see if the domain name is available. If it is available, on the next screen you'll see a message like, "yourdomainname.com is available!" with an Add to Cart button.
Step 2: Underneath the message you'll also find different domain options for your name. So if you're interested in purchasing not only a .com but a .org and maybe a .me, you'll be able to see at a single glance if any of them are available.
Name.com will also try to suggest different word combinations with some of the keywords in your interested domain name. It is a good idea to buy the .net and .org, however most of the time its advisable to disregard the other suggestions.
Step 3: Once you've decided on the domain name that fits your needs, click add to cart and then click the Checkout button.
Review Cart Items
Step 4: Upon clicking on the Checkout button, you'll arrive on the Review Cart Items page. Here you can choose to remove domains or products from you cart. Since you're purchasing a domain, you can select the duration in which you'd like to own and prepay up front.
When you're done reviewing your cart items, click on the Next Step button.
Choose Payment Option
Step 5: The next step in the checkout process is to enter in your payment
option, but first you need to have an account. If you do not yet, click Create and Account, and complete the form. Remember the username and password you choose, this is what REfindly will need you to send them.
Once you've registered, you will be asked to enter billing information, also there is a check-box to save the payment information for automatic payment of future products. We recommend choosing this option so your domain doesn't expire and is automatically renewed.
Step 6: Finally, you're required to read their Terms and Conditions and check the check-box that says, Agree To The Terms & Conditions. If you don't check the check-box, then you won't be able to complete your order.
Now click on Complete Order and you should be taken to another page that will confirm that your order has been successfully processed and added to your Name.com account.
